Friends, my heart was broken once again this week by the horrific violence in Sutherland Springs, Texas. As I think about the holidays approaching, my heart aches for those who will be missing loved ones around their tables. I’m praying for all those who are grieving, and for the rest of us as well–that this season would be marked by gratitude and generosity and that our tables would be a place of welcome and hospitality forย those who are longing to belong.
