A Note From Courtney

Hi! I’m Courtney, and I’m so glad you’re here. I’ve been sharing recipes on the Internet since 2011. What began as a hobby to share the most successful dishes coming out of my kitchen has turned into a full-time career. I was born and raised in the Midwest, and you’ll see the influences of my Amish ancestors in the recipes you find on this site. I love food that is simple, delicious, and great for sharing. I believe in the power of food to bring people together, foster great conversation, make memories, and nourish bodies and souls.

Over the last 15 years, my tastes and expertise has grown to include many different kinds of cuisine, but you’ll always find a heart for easy, approachable, family friendly recipes here on NeighborFood. I take recipe testing seriously and always want to make all the mistakes in the kitchen so you don’t have to! It is my greatest joy to be a small part of your family dinners, birthday celebrations, and holiday gatherings.
