Double Chocolate Waffle with Fresh Strawberries and Whipped Cream

Today, we’re bringing you Double Chocolate Waffles, another example of breakfast’s superiority over any other meal. I’ve got a fluffy, crisp waffle with chocolate, berries, whipped cream, and chocolate syrup.

Flour

What You'll Need:

Baking powder, soda, and salt

Brown and white sugar

Unsweetened cocoa powder

Vegetable oil

Eggs

Vanilla extract

Buttermilk

Chocolate chips

First, you’ll need to grab yourself a waffle iron. You don’t need a super fancy Belgian waffle iron. The cheap one we got when we got married over a decade ago is still chugging along just fine.

Once you’ve acquired said waffle iron, preheat it.

In a large bowl, whisk up the dry ingredients: flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, brown and granulated sugars, and cocoa.

In another bowl, whisk together the wet ingredients. We’re using buttermilk for a light, fluffy waffle, plus oil, eggs, and vanilla extract.
