Ingredients

  • 2 Tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 Tablespoons butter
  • 3/4 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 4 cups cubed sourdough bread

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 325 degrees.
  • In a large bowl, toss together the sourdough bread cubes, olive oil, and butter. Sprinkle evenly with garlic salt and Italian seasoning. Stir to combine.
  • Spread the cubes out evenly on a baking sheet. Bake in the preheated oven for 10 minutes. Flip cubes. Bake an additional 5-8 minutes or until croutons are slightly browned and crunchy.

Notes

  • ***Note: If your bread was fresh, it may take slightly longer for it to dry out, so don't be afraid to continue baking if it still doesn't seem crunchy!
