Ingredients

  • 1 Tablespoon real maple syrup
  • 1 Tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • ¼ cup balsamic vinegar
  • ½ cup olive oil
  • 1 clove minced garlic (optional)
  • Salt and pepper (to taste)

Instructions

  • Put all the ingredients except the salt and pepper in a jar with a tight fitting lid.
  • Seal, then shake vigorously for 30 seconds, or until the dressing is well combined. Taste, and season with salt and pepper as needed.

Notes

  • The dressing keeps well in the fridge for at least 7 days. It's normal for separation to occur. Bring the dressing to room temperature or microwave for a few seconds then shake to recombine.
