Weekly Family Meal Plan 163

Well, our family finally caught the cold that’s been going around all winter. I spent most of the week wiping noses, washing hands, and trying to keep my germy toddler from licking my 4 month old. The struggle is real, you guys!

It’s no wonder that I had comfort food on the brain for this week’s meal plan. Monday night’s dish is Amish Chicken and Noodles, a dish I crave every time I’m feeling under the weather. It’s simple and hearty and soothing, with silky noodles cooked with the meat and broth from a whole chicken. In my family we serve it over mashed potatoes. I wouldn’t say it’ll cure your cold, but it sure will make it easier to bear.
