This weekend marks the official start of fall, and HALLELUJAH it’s actually going to be in the 60s and 70s instead of the high 80s! We planned a little staycation for this weekend, and I’m really excited to unplug and enjoy some of our favorite local spots. I realized as I was packing that I have no idea what to wear in 60 degree weather anymore. Is that pants weather? Capris? Short sleeves or long? Do we need coats? Or is this more of a cardigan situation? I’m still confused, so I just packed a week’s worth of clothes for two nights away. Ah well, at least we’ll be comfortable, right?

I can assure you this week’s menu plan isn’t suffering at all from seasonal confusion. We are in total fall mode with chili, butternut squash, apple butter oats, and cider cocktails. I hope you’re ready to get your comfort food on, because this week’s menu is delivering big time!
