Weekly Family Meal Plan 161

Does anyone else feel like it’s been a whole year since Christmas? January felt like the loooongest month, and it sure didn’t help that it was capped off with the polar vortex of doom.

We were trapped inside for much of the week, and after baking our Sour Cream Banana Bread Recipe, stringing cheerio necklaces, making a snow sensory bin, building Amazon box towers, and using shaving cream paints in the bath, I was fresh out of ideas and patience for keeping my little one entertained. I’m SO thankful today warmed up enough for him to get outside and actually enjoy the snow, plus burn up some of this week’s pent up energy. 

Luckily, this week brings us all sorts of good things, including the BIG GAME tonight, which means we have a legit excuse to eat nothing but carbs and cheese for dinner. Hooray!

Don’t worry, we make up for it the rest of the week with a healthy slow cooker dinner, roasted carrot salad, and cozy shrimp soup. But we’re still having mac and cheese for dinner one night. I can’t help it, guys. I am who I am.
